Capel Hall Redevelopment and Library Extension

Capel Hall Redevelopment project involved extensive refurbishment to the existing town hall and an extension to the front of the building to include a new library and focal point for the Capel town.

The building extension was constructed of a structural steel frame with the use of timber framed walls clad in texture coated fibre cement sheet to match existing masonry finishes. The refurbishment of the existing Hall involved the removing of existing roof lining, modification of the existing structure to re-pitch roofs over areas of leaking or to provide a modern roof line. The refurbishment also involved constructing new toilets to modern standards, the replacing and modernising services, linings and finishes.
