Construction

Smith Constructions were engaged as the contractor with the brief that this building needed to be functional but more importantly have a “homely” feel about it. The 3metre high ceilings, soaring roof lights, wide verandas and selections of fixtures and colours achieved a result that everyone involved with the project is proud of and our client’s expectations were exceeded. The building consists of Administration/office areas, community formal and informal lounges, meeting room, sunroom, library, two fully furnished bedrooms with ensuites , a large gallery kitchen , fully equipped laundry, facilities for the disabled and multiple storage areas. The landscaped grounds have afternoon tea areas, a Men’s Shed, chicken coups, fruit and vegetable gardens, gazebos, water features and walking paths to create a very pleasant environment.
